    Part 2 : Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations : GrayHawk Community Frisco

     

    On September 1st 2011, the Desi People of Grayhawk community, Frisco, Tx, USA who wanted to celebrate the Ganesha Puja the Indian way, organized it in an open atmosphere, instead of traditional temple visit in Dallas. This event happened at Hill at Grayhawk. Atleast 200 people were there to celebrate the event. Organizers Ravi, Anil, Vikram, Hitesh made sure that every thing went smoothly. A ganesha Idol was placed & puja performed by a priest. Kids had a special puja, asking Ganesh to give them wisdom to Excel in Education & life. They were presented a Goody bag with books, Fruits & stationery items. Then Maha prasad was served, with many traditionals items. Then Finally the Ganesh Nimarjanam was performed.
